Most people believe a super star is someone who has lived a long time. Someone who is at least in their 30s and has had a full education. But there is that occasional super star that is not even old enough to go out after a good performance and celebrate with the rest of his crew. The one that is not old enough to perform in most places his music is accepted. This person is Martijn Garritsen or known by his DJ name Martin Garrix. Martin has always been in love with music, he learned to play the guitar at age 8. In 2004, he saw Tiesto perform and this began is interest in becoming a DJ. He attended school and graduated, but instead of going to college and continued his career as a DJ. In 2010, he performed at a club in Amsterdam only being 13 at the time. In 2013 he released the hit song “Animals”, this was his start to fame. Today he continues to making new tracks. He still is growing up, he hangs out with friends being a normal teenager. He ghost produces for other artists, making tracks for them. He has collaborated with many others such as, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Sander van Doorn. Being only 19, Martin Garrix ranks in the top 10 of DJs, making him the youngest DJ. Martin Garrix shows that anyone can do anything as long as you put the effort towards it. Just follow your dreams and you can achieve them.
